1 Why can't I do these trips on my own and (presumably) save money?

FAQs

One can often do our tours on his own, if he has large quantities of time, patience, money and willing to forego some safety measures.

Time: Rustling up a permit to cross a border, finding suitable transport or buying air/rail tickets from local agents etc.

Patience: One should have time to burn but, as seasoned travelers know, it can take hours and days of waiting in line, dealing with bureaucrats and triplicate forms, trying to get a taxi to the third office in a row that will send you to the fourth.

 

 

2 Why should we choose your company?

b. We have our own insured large fleet of Deluxe Air-conditioned Coaches/Cars with state of art technology and very strong networking of Associates in all over South Sudan.

c. Due to our excellent relations with most of the Hotels, we receive very attractive special rates from all Hotels which at times are approximately 15/20% lower than their rack rates.

3 Do you include trip insurance?

We advise you to arrange travel insurance in your own country.

4 How flexible are South Sudan Tours Itinerary?

All our trips are flexible and can be designed based on the interest of the individual traveler. They can all be extended, minimized or redesigned in a way to suit your interest.

5 Can you put a custom trip for me?

Yes, the only thing we need from you is to provide us information on your interest and a general info on how you would like your trip to be.

6 How many people can join the tour?

All our trips are open for small, medium and big groups depending on tour availabilities.

7. Can we bring drones?

No! Unfortunatley Drones are not allowed.

8. What is Photography Permit?

Photography permit is a document obtained from Wildlife and Minstry of Tourism that parmits you to take photos during your stay outside of Juba.

9. What is Media Authority Permit

The media authority is a required document to take photos using big cameras with zooms. The charge is 100 Dollars per camera. This payment is done at the airport on arrival or in advance with an arrangment with your travel agent. 

10. What is Entry Permit

An Entry permit is a document that allows you to board on to flights and obtain the actual visa upon your arrival to Juba airport. We charge 60 Dollars per permit. Actual visa costs 100 Dollars.

11. Can I travel alone?

South Sudan is one of the safe destinations for single travelers, traveling either guided or alone. However, before traveling alone we recommend you to consult any local tour operator so that you can have detailed information to the places you would like to travel.

12. Do you have age restriction for any of your trips?

There are no upper age limits on our tours however we need a medical report for travelers above 75. All Family tours are open for children and has no restrictions on the number of children in a trip.

13. What Kind of Cars do you use for the tours?

For all trips, we use private transportation with fully equipped Land cruisers, vans and big buses all air-conditioned with the following general classification.
Transfers for small and medium size group – Vans
Transfers for big size groups – Big buses with AC
For city Tours – Vans / Four Wheel drives / big buses/ private cars
For Surface tours outside Juba – Full option Land cruisers with AC

14. What range of hotels do you have?

The capital city, Juba has a wide range of hotels starting from Luxury Collection to budget tourist hotels. The historic sites have hotels ranging from 3/ 4 * to budget hotels providing all the basic facilities. In the south we have three-star hotels, lodges and campsites providing all the basic facilities.

15. How can I Pay for my trip?

Currently we accept official bank transfer and will update the info when we start our credit card service. Contact us for our bank details.

16. Do I need Yellow fever vaccination certifcate?

Yes You need it.
